Some useful info:

  • An A3 page is 297 x 420 mm.
  • An A4 page is 210 x 297 mm.
  • An A5 page is 148 x 210 mm.
  • Text size is typically 8 - 12 pt.
  • Line height must be a bit higher than text height.
  • "Leading" (the space between lines) is typically about 10-30% of font size
