Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pyarocho |
Planet type | Large hot gas giant |
Pyarocho has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. It is named after the deity Pyarocho, the goddess of dreams.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Pyarocho's distance from tau Boö A is only about two-thirds (or 86 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 15 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
Wind speeds can reach 104 metres per second. |
