Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Denete |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Denete is the closest planet to mu Ara and one of the smallest in its solar system. It is named after the deity Denete, the demon of dreams.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every four revolutions it makes around mu Ara. An observer on Denete would therefore see only one sunrise every three years.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Denete due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 8 percent of Earth's, except at the highest elevations for limited periods. |
