Suggested nameJikya'cha
Planet typeHuge cold gas giant
It is named after the deity Jikya'cha, the demon of good fortune.

When viewed from Kashite Pya, this proximity to Wolf 940 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning. At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Kashite Pya.

Jikya'cha is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 740°K (467°C).

Jikya'cha was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.

Jikya'cha has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Daedalus flyby missions and later by the Hawking orbiter.
