Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Psaraq One |
Planet type | Large warm gas giant |
Psaraq One is the fourth planet from WASP-8 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system. Psaraq One is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Psaraq One is orbiting WASP-8 every 8.2 Earth days.
When viewed from Maculo Nar, Psaraq One can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. This large warm gas giant is named after the deity Psaraq One, the goddess of fear.
This arid place is mostly crowded with friendly ultra advanced bacteria, the "Naiad", which spend their life in the air by devouring plants if they can. Naiad are not similar to the Sietibos and have wings and vary in length from 50 to 100 mm. Naiad can withstand temperatures from -90 to -80°C and sometimes severe infection which is common near the poles. |
