Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kepubyo-e |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
This planet is named after the deity Kepubyo-e, the bringer of hate.
Kepubyo-e is gravitationally locked with WASP-85 in a 2:1 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Kepubyo-e's surface appears quite cratered and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Kepubyo-e are likewise similar to those of Tsuma, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
This dark planet is occupied by hostile stone-age bacteria that spend their life by eating another species called Nyoja if the weather permits it. They are somewhat related to the Nhoryachu Wo, have 8 legs and vary in size from 70 to 110 cm. They are able to thrive at temperatures from 60 to 150°C and even extreme gravity which is common on Kepubyo-e. |
