When viewed from Lilialas, this proximity to WASP-68 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Porcal Sutton's distance from WASP-68 is only about two-thirds (or 69 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Porcal Sutton can easily be seen from Lilialas with the naked eye, as can its whiteish coloring. |
