Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pobe |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
This planet is named after the deity Pobe, the messenger of hate.
The polar regions are constantly below 99°K (-174°C).
Pobe was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 16 meters. In November 1200, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Pobe.
This place is populated by friendly yet interesting dinosaurs, the "Gyunuya-mugyu", that survive in the forest by killing smaller pray. They are believed to be not related to the Yashohya but have fur and vary in length from 1 to 1 cm. The Gyunuya-mugyu can live at temperatures from 10 to 90°C but are killed by the high radiation level which is rare on this planet. |
