Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameYapesho
Planet typeCold gas giant
The planet is named after the deity Yapesho, the demon of good fortune.

Yapesho is gravitationally locked with WASP-54 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.

It has the densest atmosphere of all the cold gas giants, consisting primarily of hydrogen chloride. The ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) has probably photodissociated, and the free hydrogen chloride has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a hydrogen peroxide layer.

It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.

Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 405 kilometers across when Yapesho is closest because of Pyuhorya Wara's atmosphere.
