Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Rodor Anofy |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
Rodor Anofy is the largest and most crater filled planet in its solar system.
This planet is named after the deity Rodor Anofy, the spirit of good fortune.
Rodor Anofy's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.
Rodor Anofy's thick atmosphere render observation of its surface difficult in ultraviolet light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 68 years ago.
Rodor Anofy can easily be seen from Ajuju Sid with the naked eye, as can its grayish coloring.
In late February 2100, Rodor Anofy was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Rodor Anofy's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Ajuju Sid.
The surface of this planet is populated by large yet primitive herbivores, the "Ugoxop-esen", which spend their life in the forest while eating something called Ivasaked if it is available. Most of them are not similar to the Kuqe Cana but have 5 eyes and vary in size from 80 to 150 mm. They are able to survive temperatures from 100 to 140°C and to some degree extreme gravity. |
