Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Onetungr |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
Onetungr is the oldest planet known belonging to WASP-28 and one of the largest in its solar system. It is a hot gas giant planet with a mass one-thousandth that of WASP-28, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. This hot gas giant is named after the deity Onetungr, the messenger of prosperity.
As seen from WASP-28, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Earth's oceans. |
