Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Vipaariel |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
Vipaariel is the fourth planet from WASP-168 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
It is named after the deity Vipaariel, the messenger of the sky.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Vipaariel's distance from WASP-168 is only about two-thirds (or 83 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Surrounding Vipaariel is a thin planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. |
