Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Raxthy |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Raxthy is the only habitable planet orbiting VHS 1256-1257 and one of the smallest in its solar system. This planet is named after the deity Raxthy, the spirit of war.
Raxthy's surface appears heavily cratered and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years. The polar regions are constantly below 162°K (-111°C).
These may be captured asteroids similar to Eureka.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 12 meters. |
