Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Gotsupe |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Gotsupe, the spirit of hate.
Gotsupe is primarily composed of water with a significant part of its mass being carbon dioxide, though carbon dioxide comprises only about a tiny amount of the number of molecules. Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Gotsupe after a tricky ride.
The dark oceans are entirely crawling with strange stone-age technological beings known as "Puke Pi". They survive in the mountains by killing plants if they can. Most Puke Pi are closely related to Shusa but have fur and vary in size from 23 to 52 cm. Puke Pi are known to withstand temperatures from 30 to 70°C and the high radiation level which is common on Gotsupe. |
