| Itude is the oldest planet known belonging to TOI-4087 and one of the oldest in its solar system. It is named after the deity Itude, the spirit of hate.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 100°K (-173°C) at night to 805°K (532°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
As the closest planet to Hehado, Itude has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
Surrounding Itude is a large planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.
The surface of this scary planet is known for its hostile ultra advanced plants, the "Ofos-o", which survive in lakes by consuming a substance called "Uxuxi" if the weather permits it. The Ofos-o are not similar to the Kareto but have 8 arms and vary in length from 60 to 130 mm. Most Ofos-o can endure temperatures from 30 to 100°C and electrical shock which is common on this planet. |
