Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Sabyo Purori |
Planet type | Small cold gas planet |
Sabyo Purori's atmosphere is similar to Gutoechu Asa's in its primary composition of hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. The planet is named after the deity Sabyo Purori, the goddess of the underworld.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 25 bar, or roughly the pressure found 450 m under the oceans of Gutoechu Asa. Sabyo Purori is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Sabyo Purori's hazardous precipitation.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
