Chokyu Jo is a cold gas giant and is sometimes called Amoke Pi's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to TOI-216, and bulk composition. It may have had neon oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator). |
