Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Soeuke Lamedeia |
Planet type | Large hot gas giant |
This planet is named after the deity Soeuke Lamedeia, the creator of chaos.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Hidaph Linhoe.
The polar regions are constantly below 207°K (-66°C).
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Soeuke Lamedeia due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 3 percent of Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for limited periods. The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Earth's oceans.
Planet is often occupied by aggressive stone-age carnivores, the "Phoste", that feed by seeking the somewhat smaller "Nomeska-tania" at night. They are not related to Liathee but have scales and vary in length from 50 to 100 mm. The Phoste are known to live at temperatures from -50 to -20°C and even a limited degree of radiation. |
