Fictional info (?)
Suggested namePyuez
Planet typeCold gas giant
This planet is named after the deity Pyuez, the god of chaos.

Two spacecraft have visited Pyuez: Wayfinder 8 flew by 50 years ago; and Messenger, launched 24 years ago, orbited Pyuez over 125 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 9 years later.

Pyuez is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.

In late February 1700, Pyuez was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Pyuez's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Woswai.

In 1490, images from Daedalus 4 showed Pyuez as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold gas giants.

This horrible place is said to have friendly yet ultra advanced plants, the "Chyo Sye", which survive by consuming the somewhat smaller "Yuedyo" during the day. They are believed to be related to the Anggen, have fur and vary in length from 26 to 55 mm. The Chyo Sye are known to live at temperatures from -60 to -50°C and even extreme gravity which is common on this planet.
