Suggested name | Ruhe Fu |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Ruhe Fu is the smallest and most round planet in its solar system. In English, Ruhe Fu is often referred to as the "yellow planet" because the nitrogen prevalent on its surface gives it a scary yellow appearance that is distinctive among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
When viewed from Fumyu Nyuza'mo, Ruhe Fu can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The planet is named after the deity Ruhe Fu, the creator of destruction.
When viewed from Fumyu Nyuza'mo, this proximity to TAP 26 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Ruhe Fu's distance from TAP 26 is only about two-thirds (or 92 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Surrounding Ruhe Fu is a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. |
