Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ohyuzu |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 28°K (-245°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with water thought to make up the lowest clouds, and oxygen the uppermost layer of clouds. The planet is named after the deity Ohyuzu, the demon of nature.
It has the densest atmosphere of all the huge cold gas giants, consisting primarily of oxygen.
Planet is known for its barbaric and primitive plants, the "Shibyo Cho", which feed there by finding nourishment in the somewhat smaller "Misha-pa" if they can. They are believed to be closely related to Tegu-gaso-yo but with wings and vary in size from 40 to 90 cm. The Shibyo Cho are able to endure temperatures from -80 to -30°C and even even a limited degree of radiation. |
