Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Sida Pansida |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Sida Pansida, the goddess of destruction.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 4 bar, or roughly the pressure found 990 m under the oceans of Bicres-ioiet.
Sida Pansida was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
Sida Pansida is primarily composed of carbon dioxide with a significant part of its mass being water, though water comprises only about a small amount of the number of molecules.
The oceans are said to have small medieval technological beings, the "Theus", which feed in the mountains by hunting anything they find. Most Theus are closely related to the Siarliaq and have scales and vary in size from 32 to 55 mm. Theus can live at temperatures from 120 to 170°C and severe infection which is common near the poles. |
