Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Tosyp Osid |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 28°K (-245°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with ozone thought to make up the lowest clouds, and nitric oxide the uppermost layer of clouds. This cold planet is named after the deity Tosyp Osid, the demon of the underworld.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Tosyp Osid's hostile surface conditions.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Tosyp Osid 1200 and ExoTosyp Osid rovers. |
