| Fuhyakyo is the strangest and most round planet in its solar system.
Fuhyakyo's atmosphere is similar to Tamoisha-ze's in its primary composition of hydrogen and xenon, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. The planet is named after the deity Fuhyakyo, the spirit of fear.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the past habitability potential of Fuhyakyo, as well as the possibility of extant life. Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Fuhyakyo 1300 and ExoFuhyakyo rovers.
Future targets for exploration in the Fuhyakyo system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Hanyoju Kyu.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Fuhyakyo approached its equinox 8 years ago. |
