Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Hyoe Yami-ha |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
Hyoe Yami-ha is similar in composition to Chapahi, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold gas giants. It is named after the deity Hyoe Yami-ha, the goddess of destruction.
It may have had hydrogen oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Hyoe Yami-ha are likewise similar to those of Chapahi, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
A prominent result is the "great black spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first detected by scanner. |
