Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ribyate |
Planet type | Small cold gas planet |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
It is a small cold gas planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of OGLE--2018-BLG-0516, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. It is named after the deity Ribyate, the messenger of war.
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to OGLE--2018-BLG-0516, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 162 days.
Ribyate's surface appears heavily bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of ice.
The surface of this brutal planet is mostly crawling with barbaric and medieval plants called the "Pera-za". They spend their life in deep valleys by killing plants. The Pera-za are not related to the Chaho Po and have 5 arms and vary in size from 50 to 110 cm. Pera-za are known to withstand temperatures from -90 to -60°C and prolonged periods without food. |
