Suggested nameHabuzuwo Hegu
Planet typeCold gas giant
Habuzuwo Hegu has been known to astronomers since the medieval. When viewed from Rumu-nge, Habuzuwo Hegu can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. It is named after the deity Habuzuwo Hegu, the god of the sea.

It has the densest atmosphere of any cold gas giants, consisting of huge amounts of hydrogen deuteride (HD). The carbon dioxide has probably photodissociated, and the free hydrogen deuteride (HD) has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a planetary magnetic field.

Habuzuwo Hegu was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.

In 3178, images from Wayfinder 4 showed Habuzuwo Hegu as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold gas giants.
