Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Iluxeq-o |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
Orbiting within Bevope-w's orbit, Iluxeq-o is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from OGLE-2017-BLG-1140L; its maximum angular distance from OGLE-2017-BLG-1140L (elongation) is 38 degrees.
When viewed from Bevope-w, Iluxeq-o can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The interior of Iluxeq-o is mainly composed of ices and magma. The planet is named after the deity Iluxeq-o, the messenger of fear.
Iluxeq-o is gravitationally locked with OGLE-2017-BLG-1140L in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Iluxeq-o is a cold gas giant and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to OGLE-2017-BLG-1140L, and bulk composition.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of frozen gas.
The surface of this pleasant planet is crowded with friendly but shy stone-age insects that spend their life by hunting anything they find. They are not related to the Enocano-po but have 6 arms and vary in length from 40 to 90 mm. They are able to thrive at temperatures from -30 to -0°C and even intense weather which is common on Iluxeq-o. |
