Suggested name | Quro Dyg |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Quro Dyg is the largest and innermost planet in its solar system.
Quro Dyg has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. This planet is named after the deity Quro Dyg, the god of prosperity.
It is radically different from Meqaj-i in other respects.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Meqaj-i, Sudeki-qa, and @STARNAME.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
The Quro Dyg system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. |
