| The planet is named after the deity Shyan, the god of hate.
An observer on Shyan would therefore see only one sunset every three years.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 60 bar, or roughly the pressure found 945 m under the oceans of Earth. Shyan is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
Two of Shyan's moons, Myiyyou'gyi and Aodwu Xangm, are are slightly unusually shaped.
The largest moon is full of friendly but shy medieval humanoids known as "Yyuw Yao". They survive in the jungle by devouring a substance called "Weiraizh". Most Yyuw Yao are related to the Qazhyuzh Wan but have 3 legs and vary in length from 60 to 150 cm. Yyuw Yao are able to survive temperatures from 90 to 150°C and even ultra violet light which is common on Shyan. |
