Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Yyitwa-fanbyang |
Planet type | Large cold gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Yyitwa-fanbyang, the demon of good fortune.
Yyitwa-fanbyang is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
Yyitwa-fanbyang's hazy atmosphere make observation of its surface impossible in visible light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 24 years ago.
Yyitwa-fanbyang can easily be seen from Zhanggyuek with the naked eye, as can its yellowish coloring. |
