Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ceepi |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Ceepi is similar in composition to Lile Onespon, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. For this reason, scientists often classify Ceepi and Lile Onespon as "cold planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. The planet is named after the deity Ceepi, the demon of hate.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Ceepi due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 7 percent of Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for limited periods.
Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 480 kilometers across when Ceepi is closest because of Lile Onespon's atmosphere.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
