Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Hopyabe-myopya |
Planet type | Small cold gas planet |
Hopyabe-myopya is the fourth planet from @STARNAME and the second-smallest planet in its solar system. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Wokubyu Sogi, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, sometimes, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
For this reason, scientists often classify Hopyabe-myopya and Wokubyu Sogi as "small cold gas planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. It is named after the deity Hopyabe-myopya, the demon of chaos.
As the closest planet to Wokubyu Sogi, Hopyabe-myopya has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Hopyabe-myopya 2700 and ExoHopyabe-myopya rovers. |
