| When viewed from Wacwutan, Yokeng-lweng can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. It is named after the deity Yokeng-lweng, the god of the sky.
As seen from @STARNAME, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Yokeng-lweng was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Wacwutan, Chaosh Wa, and @STARNAME.
Like the other huge cold gas giants, Yokeng-lweng has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Yuang Yi being the least visible one. |
