Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Deiyyag-eng |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Orbiting within Geiz's orbit, Deiyyag-eng is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from Kepler-989; its maximum angular distance from Kepler-989 (elongation) is 74 degrees.
It is named after the deity Deiyyag-eng, the messenger of nature.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Juno, which entered into orbit around Deiyyag-eng after a very expensive journey.
Planet is said to have harmless ultra advanced carnivores called the "Yingl". They survive in the jungle by devouring anything they find if they need to. Yingl are related to the Weng, have wings and vary in size from 40 to 70 mm. The Yingl can withstand temperatures from 120 to 190°C and even near-vacuum which is rare on this planet. |
