Suggested name | Aethea Her |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Aethea Her, the spirit of the underworld.
Aethea Her is a cold planet and is sometimes called Uqmos's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-954, and bulk composition. The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 5 bar, or roughly the pressure found 1575 m under the oceans of Uqmos. Aethea Her's surface is a arid desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
As one of the brightest objects in the sky, Aethea Her has been a major inspiration in native folklore for as long as records have existed. |
