Suggested nameGersyu Lyaswu
Planet typeCold planet
Gersyu Lyaswu's atmosphere is similar to Yixyoryed's in its primary composition of molecular hydrogen and nitric oxide, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 73°K (-200°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with nitric oxide thought to make up the lowest clouds, and molecular hydrogen the uppermost layer of clouds. The planet is named after the deity Gersyu Lyaswu, the bringer of destruction.

Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Gersyu Lyaswu's distance from Kepler-944 is only about two-thirds (or 99 pct) of its distance at aphelion. The polar regions are constantly below 207°K (-66°C).

The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.

In late February 1500, Gersyu Lyaswu was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Gersyu Lyaswu's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Yixyoryed.
