Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Wora Wazo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 65°K (-208°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with 2H2O thought to make up the lowest clouds, and water vapor the uppermost layer of clouds. The interior of Wora Wazo is mainly composed of ices and molten metal. The planet is named after the deity Wora Wazo, the goddess of nature.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Wora Wazo's hazardous precipitation.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 33 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of ice.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold planets, Wora Wazo lacks a well-defined atmosphere. |
