Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Qezuxys |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Jequ, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, sometimes, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
This cold planet is named after the deity Qezuxys, the messenger of the underworld.
The hydrogen chloride has probably photodissociated, and the free oxygen has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a planetary magnetic field.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Qezuxys is the site of Titanic Gravis, the most active volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Jequ, Jesonen'om, and Kepler-934. |
