Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Tachiji-ji |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Tachiji-ji, the god of dreams.
As seen from Kepler-871, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Tachiji-ji's surface appears partially scarred and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
Tachiji-ji is the site of Celestium Tower, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Tachiji-ji due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 4 percent of Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods. |
