Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Woxuwumy |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Woxuwumy, the goddess of the sea.
Woxuwumy's surface appears quite bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
Woxuwumy is the site of Olympus Peak, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Future targets for exploration in the Woxuwumy system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Ibaba Xid.
Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Woxuwumy approached its equinox 6 years ago. |
