Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Sutko |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Ennix Cu, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
Sutko is the oldest planet known belonging to Kepler-825 and one of the oldest in its solar system. This planet is named after the deity Sutko, the goddess of nature.
Sutko's dense clouds make observation of its surface challenging in ultraviolet light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 62 years ago. |
