Suggested name | Yingxat Weng |
Planet type | Cold planet |
In English, Yingxat Weng is often referred to as the "brown planet" because the methane prevalent on its surface gives it a deep brown appearance that is distinctive among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye. It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
Yingxat Weng is the oldest planet known belonging to Kepler-778 and one of the oldest in its solar system. The planet is named after the deity Yingxat Weng, the god of prosperity.
Yingxat Weng was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
Two of Yingxat Weng's moons, Xwulwen Zhyowwo and Syesyak, are are quite irregularly shaped.
The dark oceans are said to have friendly yet primitive plants, the "Jakying-t", which survive hidden in craters by finding nourishment in plants. They are not similar to the Yong, have 7 legs and vary in size from 8 to 12 mm. The Jakying-t are known to endure temperatures from -40 to -0°C and electrical shock. |
