Suggested nameYuep Yang
Planet typeCold planet
Yuep Yang is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Yuep Yang is orbiting Kepler-740 every 3.6 Earth days. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Reixwai Kan, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.

This cold planet is named after the deity Yuep Yang, the goddess of the sky.

At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Reixwai Kan.

Yuep Yang's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.

Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 195 kilometers across when Yuep Yang is closest because of Earth's atmosphere.

Yuep Yang has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Frontier flyby missions and later by the Hawking orbiter.

Wind speeds can reach 90 metres per second.
