Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Bernar Ko |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-727 of 5.2 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system. It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
The planet is named after the deity Bernar Ko, the god of dreams.
Bernar Ko's surface appears very bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 35 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Lynus, Hite Far, and Kepler-727.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators.
The surface of this planet is crowded with friendly ultra advanced insects, the "Gaeonliaq'thy", which survive there while eating anything they find. Most of them are not related to Erloge-io but have fur and vary in length from 30 to 54 meters. They can thrive at temperatures from 10 to 40°C and high atmospheric pressure. |
