Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Chamun |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Chamun is the fourth planet from Kepler-696 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
This cold planet is named after the deity Chamun, the god of hate.
Chamun is gravitationally locked with Kepler-696 in a 3:2 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Chamun's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.
It is radically different from Hianolin in other respects.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Chamun after a troublesome ride. |
