Suggested name | Nimega |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Nimega is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Nimega is orbiting Kepler-691 every 8.1 Earth days.
This cold planet is named after the deity Nimega, the demon of chaos.
It is radically different from Zasho Shu in other respects.
Nimega has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Daedalus flyby missions and later by the Isaac orbiter.
One of this planet's scary moons is known for its friendly but shy ultra advanced insects, the "Pyabekyu", which survive on the ground by seeking the Pyanyu Cho plant. They are related to Dahopyu-meta but have 11 tentacles and vary in length from 70 to 130 meters. Pyabekyu are known to endure temperatures from 70 to 120°C and even near-vacuum which is common near the poles. |
