Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Desanda'poly |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Desanda'poly, the goddess of fear.
Two spacecraft have visited Desanda'poly: Wayfinder 5 flew by 38 years ago; and Messenger, launched 9 years ago, orbited Desanda'poly over 160 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 5 years later.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Desanda'poly are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
The dark lakes are crawling with large primordial herbivores known to spend their life only by hunting anything they find. Most Surpa are closely related to the Lehar Tanede but have wings and vary in size from 80 to 100 meters. Most Surpa are able to reproduce at temperatures from 110 to 170°C and also extreme gravity. |
