Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Weng Xan |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Weng Xan is similar in composition to Yuantwan-sh, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This cold planet is named after the deity Weng Xan, the god of love and beauty.
Weng Xan is gravitationally locked with Kepler-605 in a 2:1 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system. As seen from Kepler-605, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Weng Xan's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets. |
