Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kemuc |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-580 of 8.2 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
It is a cold planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of Kepler-580, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. This planet is named after the deity Kemuc, the demon of love and beauty.
It may have had water vapor oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
In late February 3500, Kemuc was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Kemuc's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Irusut-i. |
